Bios

Andrew and Patricia are co-authors of Porn Yesterday and Strange Bedfellows. It’s Murder, Mary! was commissioned by the New Conservatory Theater Center, San Francisco and premiered there in 2008. Their plays have been produced around the country. They collaborated  with composer Caroline Altman on the history-based musical, Not Without Our Women. They both are members of the Playwrights Center of SF and the Dramatists Guild.

Patricia’s plays include Believers, (premiered August 2012, Wily West Productions, San Francisco) Reduction in Force (commissioned by Central Works, Berkeley, California, premiered 2011, and won Broadway World’s Best Local Play Award), The Only Virgin in Jubilee County, (winner, 2007 Hill Country Community Theatre Play Contest, published by Eldridge Publishers), Busybody (Original Works Publishing) and Solving Sunflowers (premiered April, 2013 at East Mountain Center for Theater, and prizewinner, 2009 Eudora Welty New Play Competition). She belongs to the International Centre for Women Playwrights, Theatre Bay Area, and PlayCafe.

Andrew received his MFA in Playwriting from Ohio University’s School of Theatre. His plays include Another Dude’s Slingbacks (New Works of Merit Award, production at the 13th Street Repertory Theatre in New York City) and The Second Weekend in September (world premiere at City Lights Theater in San Jose, California). His works include the full-length dramas, Bitten by a Boomslang and Puppet Man.
